Early Hookup
Despite the challenges of a last minute venue change, the Hookup guys found a great
option at the Kingley Cafe near Oxford.which had plenty of room, and the prices were
ok too. But in did see some go to petrol station next door.
I got there nice and early, and luckily found a parking space (bit too far for scooter)
and spent a lovely sunny day people watching and enjoying some sketchy choppers,
sadly a lack of Diggers this year was it a 1 year craze, or will there be more?
With a tented area out the back, this made a great venue for more bikes, music and
keeping out the sun and plenty of sitting areas.
While the choppers were mainly Harley davidson, it was nice to see offerings from
Honda, Triumph and Yamaha amongst others.
There were some stalls inside, including a barber and tattooist which made it a little
crowded, maybe another time some of these could be outside which along with the chaotic
parking was my only concern.
Well done to all the organisers for managing a great show in a short time
